Will rollout Vaccination drive for 18-45 age group from today: JK Govt

The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday said that the vaccination drive for age group of 18-45 years will be rollout from the 1st of May in a Phased manner.

The Vaccination Drive will begin from Jammu and Srinagar and the COVAXIN will be administered to the age group free of cost.

The Vaccination drive will be by prior registration and prior appointment only and the people have been asked that do not crowd the vaccination centres without an appointment.

Jammu & Kashmir to rollout 18-45 vaccine from today 1 May in a phased manner, beginning with Jammu & Srinagar.

In a Second tweet wrote, “COVAXIN will be administered to this age group free of cost. It will be by prior registration and prior appointment only.Please do not crowd the vaccination centres without appointment”.

Pertinently, a Senior official said that The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued orders for the supply of COVID-19 vaccines for undertaking vaccination of people above 18 years and the administration is expected to get supplies by May 20.
