Pattan Bank robbery: police intensifies operation, Alto Car, rifle found in Kunzer, Searches on SSP Baramulla

Police on Friday Morning have recovered the bank security guard’s snatched rifle also the Maruti Alto cab used by unidentified gunmen to decamp with cash after they stole 2. Lac 86 thousand from J&K Bank branch, in Sherabad Khore , Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Baramulla Rayees Mohammad Bhat said that the vehicle was found today at Wusan village in Kunzar area of Baramulla district this morning.

On Probing police has also Recovered Bank Security guard’s 12-Bore rifle in the Maruti Alto Car, he said.

Meanwhile, SSP Baramulla added that Searches for culprits have been intensified in the suspected areas, the investigation is going on in full swing.

Pertinently, it’s the 3rd incident of bank Robbery in the last 2 months.
