Anantnag Police arrest drug peddler at Sangam Bijbehara, Contraband Substance recovered from his possession

Anantnag,27 March 2021:In its continuous efforts against social evils, D.o Sangam during Naka checking stopped an Alto car bearing registration No.JK18A-5981 which was driven by Showkat Ahmad Ganie S/O Ab. Aziz Ganie R/O Sirhama Bijbehara and during checking of the vehicle a polythene bag containing 2.5 kgs of Charas powder-like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this connection FIR No. 57/2021 under section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered and investigation into the matter has been taken up.
