Drug peddler arrested in Awantipora, Charas recovered
Awantipora, 04 March: Acting tough against the drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
As per a press release, Police party of Police Post Reshipora on Naka duty arrested one drug peddler when the arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances at Kawani Crossing Awantipora.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as: Ghulam Qadir Malik S/O Ghulam Nabi Malik R/O Tahab Pulwama.
“500 grams of Charas( in shape of sticks) was recovered from the possession of arrested person.”
Case vide FIR number 29/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
