1st Convocation Ceremony review meeting held in IUST Awantipora

Awantipora: In view of the University’s maiden Convocation, a special review meeting was held in the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora on Monday.

As per the press release issued to Arising State, the meeting was chaired by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mushtaq A. Siddiqi.

During the meeting, members took stock of various agenda items and held detailed discussions over the preparations.

One of the University officials has said that Chairman UGC Prof. D. P Singh will be the Chief Guest. during the ceremony to held on 1st March.

She said that “due to Covid restrictions, only gold medalists and Ph.D. awardees shall attend the function at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC).”
