Grenade attack in Sopore, leaves 2 civilians injured
Srinagar, December 12: Suspected militants on Saturday evening lobbed a grenade on a Police post at a bus stand in North Kashmir’s Sopore.
According to reports, two civilians received injuries as unknown persons lobbed a grenade towards Police Police at Bus Stand Sopore.
The injured have been identified as Zaffar Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad, residents of Sopore.
Both are being treated at Sopore hospital and their condition is said to be stable.
A senior Police officer told the local news agency that militants attacked with a grenade on a Police post near a bus stand, however, in this incident no loss of life has been reported.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
