Srinagar-Leh Highway, Mughal Road Closed
Srinagar, Dec 8: Authorities on Tuesday closed the Srinagar-Leh highway and Mughal Road, connecting Shopian and Poonch districts, following the accumulation of snow.
Official sources told the local news agency that the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari highway (Srinagar-Leh) highway and Mughal road were closed due to snow accumulation. However, they said that the Jammu-Srinagar highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the world, was open. The official said that light motor vehicles are plying from Jammu towards Srinagar.
