Authorities demolish illegal constructions, retrieve land in Gulmarg

Authorities today demolished illegal structures in Gulmarg on the directions of Jammu and Kashmir High Court.

The Baramulla administration has formed a team on the directions of High Court after a PIL was submitted regarding illegal constructions, retrieval of encroached land and action against those properties whose lease has expired.

Taking to reporters ADC Baramulla Ahsan Mir who headed the team said, “Baramulla administration has formed a team of officers of various departments to retrieve land in illegal possession, demolish illegal structures and take action those properties whose lease has expired. The lease of 69 properties in Gulmarg has expired. ”
