State Election Commissioner condoles demise of Presiding Officer Mohd Iqbal Naik
JAMMU DECEMBER 03: State Election Commissioner, K.K Sharma today condoled the demise of Mohammad Iqbal Naik, Teacher-High School Sarachi, resident of Khari, Banihal who was appointed as Presiding Officer for District Development Council Constituency, 05- Gool for Polling Station Kharpora.
The Presiding Officer lost his life in a road accident near Ramban while travelling to attend his official duties.
State Election Commissioner, while addressing a press conference, commended his dedication to his duties and also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He also expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family members.
A two minutes silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul
