3 dead as landslide, heavy rain hit Noorpora Awantipora 

4 members of a Nomad family in Noorpora Awantipora were ‘trapped in debris’, following a landslide incident, due to incessant rainfall. Sources said that all the four members have been rescued by the locals and police. They said that they have been hospitalised in a ‘critical condition’.

Latest Update : Meanwhile ,reports reaching Arising State say that 3 out  of four people have died due to severe injuries caused in the accident.

Avtar Singh Trali, DDC Dadsara block, and Apni Party Provincial Secretary (Kmr) has expressed deep grief and Sorrow over the accidental demise of three  members of a nomads family at Noorpora, Awantipora, whose temporary residential shelter collapsed under the debris of soil avalanche due to inclement weather and continous rains in the valley. Singh expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, and urged upon the district administration for prompt relief and rehabilitation and medical support to the left out injured members of the family.
