1 Dead, 4 Injured As Load Carrier Skids Off Road in Khanpora Ganderbal

Srinagar, Oct 5 : A person was killed even as four others were injured after a load carrier ferrying them skidded off the road near Khanpora in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Reports rsaid that load carrier bearing registration number JK16 7950 met with an accident this evening resulting in injuries to five persons. The injured were immediately evacuated to PHC Wakura, however soon after admission a person identified as Abdul Ahad Ganaie (55) son of Ghulam Ahmad Ghani, resident of Guzhama succumbed to his critical injuries.

The four injured persons identified as Abdul Ahad Ganie son of Gh Nabi, Gh Rasool Ganie son of Gh Nabi, Ab Rahman Mir son of Ab Ahad – residents of Guzhama – and Mushtaq Ah Dar son of Mohd Yosuf Dar of Khanpora were however discharged upon administration of first aid at the health facility.
